Bahrain International Circuit. Using that bit instead of the usual T1 would make a fast 2-apex corner.

I’m totally with you on this, but I believe the thinking is that a heavy braking zone into an hairpin at the end of a long straight helps overtaking. Which I guess it does. Tilke is familiar with the idea!
